African Literature Today (ALT) was founded in 1968 by Eldred and Marjorie Jones and continues to build on its well-established reputation in literary studies with a new team of editors. Each annual volume is based on a specific theme, announced in advance in preceding volumes. Articles should not exceed 5,000 words, and should be submitted double spaced, with two hard copies and a disc to:
